ADF Roles

Quick question: how many ADF roles have you properly researched? ADF Careers allows you to shortlist up to eight roles, compare four and nominate your top three when applying—but plenty of candidates still focus entirely on one job. Before choosing your preferences, make sure you understand: ✅ What the role actually does ✅ Its entry and education requirements ✅ Initial training ✅ Likely posting locations ✅ Full-time or Reserve options ✅ Whether you would genuinely accept the role Having three well-researched preferences doesn’t mean settling. It means giving yourself several suitable pathways into Army, Navy or Air Force. Drop your current top three roles below—or comment with the roles you’re trying to choose between. The group may be able to help. You can also check out the ADF Careers preparation courses inside TBG Academy for more guidance on role research, aptitude testing, interviews and fitness preparation.
